Wild Life festival lineup announced

It’s set to be massive

Wild Life music festival, which takes place yearly at Brighton City Airport, has released its 2016 lineup.

The festival, which is set to take place on the 11th and 12th of June, will be headlined by Rudimental and Disclosure. Other big names set to perform include James Bay, Skepta, and Bastille.

The festival is large for a town the size of Brighton, boasting four stages and over 30,000 likes on Facebook.

Although the festival only began in 2015, it became a surefire hit, winning Best New Festival at the UK’s Festival Awards. This year, pre-sale tickets have already sold out.

Wild Life also attracted thousands of festival-goers in 2015. Last year, hundreds of students attended, unsurprising as there are over 20,000 living in the area. Speaking to The Verse, Rob Ballantine, Director of SJM Concerts, said: “We wanted to focus on somewhere that has a huge student base, and Brighton fit.”

Tickets are only £105 for the weekend, or £117.50 including transport – a fraction of the price of Reading or Glasto.
