The majority of unis are staffed by white academics

How many white lecturers are there at your uni?

| UPDATED

White lecturers make up the majority in every university’s academic department.

At some unis, only one in 10 academics are not white.

Cambridge, Cardiff and Leeds’ white academics make up around 60 per cent of the staff, a percentage much lower than other universities, but this is because the number of unknown race is far higher.

Aston and Queen Mary top the tables for having the most known number of non-white staff, while Northumbria and Stirling.

With only 1 per cent unknown ethnicity, Stirling has a low number of non-white academic staff, with them making up only 9 per cent of the cohort.
