Stirling fresher arrested for sexual assault

She will appear in court today


A female fresher has been arrested for sexually assaulting a fellow student. 

The first year in Stirling is being held by the police and is due to go to court today.

Police arrived at Fraser of Allander house on campus to arrest the woman after claims she sexually assaulted a Fraser resident.

There were multiple police cars outside the halls of residence on Monday night. As many as 10 police officers were on the scene.

When police arrived three flats in Fraser were evacuated to Willow Court.

Shaken residents had to speak to police before spending hours in the reception of Willow Court.

Three flats of Fraser residents were evacuated to Willow Court reception.

The room where the incident occurred has been closed off.
