Riton is one of the three major headliners for the festival, with Crazy Cousinz and Matoma also set to take to the stage. Riton is known for his smash hit "Rinse and Repeat", something you've definitely danced to at 1.30AM in the Union before. He's also done collaborations with Diplo and Mark Ronson.

The 14th looks set to be the highlight of Freshers, with Riton promised ton be playing some serious tunes in town. In two weeks time, 2,300 students will descend on Lower College Hall for an afternoon of photobooths, kombucha and dancing until the morning.

The St Andrews Charity Fashion Show Committee has been teasing the acts for weeks and seems to be continuing in popularity. This year their early-bird tickets sold out in just 30 minutes. The student-run events committee have announced that this year's Starfields is aiming to be more sustainable, cutting down on plastic waste and replacing materials to ones that are compostable.

Executive Director Daniel Craig told The Tab "We really thought about our audience when planning our acts this year. Crazy Cousinz, Riton and our headliner Matoma all cater to different groups. Yet together they really capture that end of summer atmosphere that makes Starfields such a unique event."
