St Andrews beats Oxbridge in new set of league tables

We came 35th for student opinion

St Andrews voted itself as the 35th best uni in the country.

From an analysis of over 25,000 student opinions on whatuni.com, 125 universities were ranked based on multiple categories—accommodation, city life, clubs and societies, courses and lecturers, job prospects, student union, facilities, support services—along with an overall rating.

This year’s overall winner was Harper Adams University, while St Andrews came in at 35th, a drop from the university’s ranking of 19 in 2015. Cambridge and Oxford were ranked at 46 and 50, respectively.

In this year’s analysis, it was found that student satisfaction throughout the UK has increased, however, student support, quality of student unions, clubs and societies, and job prospects have decreased.
