The Scandinavian Society takes over the Rule for an evening of après-ski inspired fun. Copious amounts of alcohol have been promised, along with excellent music and enough Redbull to satisfy all of your jager bomb-related needs.

MiL presents: On The Rocks Opening Party w/ Errors, Tuesday

Music is Love brings you the opening party for this year’s On The Rocks. Featuring a range of alternative rock and indie-electronic performances and some techno/ambient and psychadelic music from original producers. This year’s headline act is Errors, a ‘post electric rock’ group who have performed with the likes of CHVRCHES, Mogwai, and The Twilight Sad. Tickets are £12 at the door.

Korea Divided: A Panel Discussion, Thursday

The IPA will host a discussion about the divisions between North and South Korea since the end of World War II. The talk with feature guest Jihyun Park, a North Korean defector and victim. More information about guest speakers coming soon. Tickets available via Tilt.

You Better Work! Queerness and the Catwalk, Thursday

‘What does being fabulous teach us about the power, pleasure and promise of style?’ madison moore, author of “How to Be Beyonce,” Research Associate in the Department of English for King’s College London, DJ, and pop culture scholar will speak about popular queer performance culture. The event will be held in Sallies School 6.

St Andrews Night Live, Saturday

Inspired by ‘Saturday Night Live’ and a part of the On The Rocks festival, The St Andrews Comedy Society offers a night of sketch, stand-up, and and improv. ‘[They’ll] be tackling the deepest issues, like why Dervish only delivers on foot, and how come the sentence, “A man, a plan, a canal: Panama.” Is the same backwards (ha, you just checked.)’ Tickets available here.
