It might have been a big weekend, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t lots more things to focus on this week.

Auditions for Pistorius: A Shakespearean Tragedy, Tuesday and Wednesday

Through a creative retelling of Shakespeare’s language and well-known plots, the connection between the story of Oscar Pistorius and his timeless plays will be brought to light. The extremely relevant performance is planned to take place in the days after Pistorius’ re-trial.

Auditions will be held at The Barron Theatre from 13:00-15:00.

Witness of Fascism, Wednesday

The International Politics Association will be hosting Mala Tribich to share her Holocaust survival story. For more information about her, check out their Facebook event page. Event to take place at the Hotel du Vin. Tickets £4 for non-members via Tilt. Free for members.

Bindi, Thursday

In collaboration with Sitara*, the Sanskriti society is throwing their highly anticipated Bindi. Always a night of amazing music and dancing, this year you’ll get to party with some of the Sitara* celebs. Tickets £5 via the Facebook event page or outside the library 12-3 Tuesday and Wednesday.

SAASUM, Saturday

This day-long event will include several lectures, workshops, and panel discussions on the subject of African affairs, enterprise, and innovation. The event will be held at the Byre Theatre. Tickets are £20 for students, £25 for non-students.
