The Fife Food Festival is returning to St Andrews

We hope you’re hungry

As part of the annual RAG Week festivities, the Fine Food and Dining Society will be taking over Younger Hall on Sunday to celebrate a range of delicious treats with the Fife Food Festival.

From gin to Scottish street-style food, guests need only donate £3 to gain access to a host of food-related fun.

What you can expect

Throughout the day, we will see cooking demonstrations by the Hams Hame (also featuring free canapés), the Fairmont (a masterclass in cocktail creation), and BreadinFife (bread samples will accompany the lesson).

Throughout the event, which lasts from 11am until 5pm, guests will have the opportunity to have their faces painted. Check out their Facebook page for pictures of last year’s festival and up-to-date information on this year’s event.

Last year’s event

In keeping with RAG Week’s charitable theme, all proceeds from the festival will go towards Mary’s Meals and FareShare, both food-related charities in the UK. Mary’s Meals seeks to provide nutritious school meals for children around the world, while FareShare utilises food waste to create healthy meals for vulnerable individuals across the country.

In the wake of Refreshers Week, an afternoon spent sampling outstanding cuisines may be exactly what we all need. Stop by Younger Hall this Sunday 31st January for a taste of everything.
