Formed in 2009, Truthfully Spoken are a student band who have spent the last four years building up a catalogue of songs and now four choice cuts have made their way onto the group’s first EP, Time to Start. As well as being recorded at Nola Recording Studios in New York, the EP, available on Spotify here:(https://play.spotify.com/album/6nZqsrsyoRkjBkJR0U1bvl), anticipates a full album release in the near future.
Here’s where you come in, you aspiring graphic designer you. In collaboration with Truthfully Spoken, The Stand is running a competition where entrants can submit their designs for the forthcoming album. The best work will be displayed here on The Stand, with the winner’s artwork being featured on iTunes and Spotify, not to mention a pivotal association with a fast-rising band!
You too could become the next Sir Peter Blake and design this generation’s Sgt Pepper sleeve! The theme could be anything and adopt any medium – photography, collage, painting.
