The Americans at St Andrews have claimed the oldest uni in Scotland as one of their own, on The Daily Beast‘s list of 15 of the “Decade’s Hottest Schools.”

St Andrews, the only international school featured, came 12th in the poll (though The Stand knows our true ranking to be much higher). Listed among many American favorites like University of Southern Carolina and Vanderbilt, St Andrews is described as being a steal for international students, with fees for the entire year coming in at *only* $25,000.

The Daily Beast also writes that “overseas institutions have long been attractive bargains for Americans, and Scotland’s oldest university (and Prince William’s alma mater) is no exception.” Get ready to see more American girls searching for their Prince Charming than ever. We Americans sure do know how to pick ’em, don’t we?
