Fife Parkour is a local organisation that focuses on bringing the concept of free-running throughout Scotland. They hold classes weekly in St Andrews and focus on training the basic skills that are required to take part in Parkour.

Let’s find out what Matt has to say:

When I first heard about parkour, I immediately remembered  the opening scene of Casino Royale and thought how difficult could this be?

Unfortunately this was not quite the case. After the first few exercises I began to truly understand the meaning of pain.  I had never imagined jumping over a rail required talent.

The guys running it (literally) were brilliant teachers and despite my lack of sporting ability I still managed to do some cool stuff. I would really reccomend giving it a go, it’s a great new perspective on how to get around!
