Tim and Randy Review the St Andrews Revue (confusing, we know).

TIM
Hey Randy.

RANDY
Oh hey Tim, didn’t see you there.

TIM
You see the Revue?

RANDY
You bet I did!

TIM
They’re a comedy troupe that write and perform their own sketches.

RANDY
[Pause] Yeah, I know.

TIM
Sorry, that’s for the benefit of our listeners.

RANDY
Readers.

TIM
Whatever.

RANDY
They don’t perform that regularly, do they? Their last show was in On The Rocks 2011, where they performed to a sell-out crowd–

TIM
They sold out this year too! Did you enjoy them?

RANDY
Yeah, I was really impressed with a lot of the sketches they did.

TIM
They work really well as an ensemble–

RANDY
Yeah, but each one still had their own individual style. They were pretty ballsy in places – I think the dead person sketch went over really well–

TIM
No Whitney–

RANDY
Too soon Tim, too soon.

TIM
I thought it was pretty top-notch stuff–

RANDY
I would have liked less St Andrews-based comedy – their sketch for Library Olympics was really funny, but it’s always easier to fall back on what your audience know–

TIM
Interesting, I think there could have been more St Andrews humour! It’s The St Andrews Revue after all, their crowd is mainly students. They could have gone a little darker as well–

RANDY
Darker than dead people?

TIM
The orphan sketch was a step in the right direction.

RANDY
I enjoyed the music – particularly the ‘Rapesco’ rap. That Christy is really fit–

TIM
Tell me about it. I think the ‘Bisexual’ song was a little weak – Katy Perry has been parodied way too often for it to be original.

RANDY
But all in all, a good night out?

TIM
Absolutely! I love the grammar owl (Lorenzo De Boni).

RANDY
Yeah!

TIM
They’ve got a new show in On The Rocks this year.

RANDY
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better.

TIM
[Pause] That’s a little harsh –

RANDY
No, I heard that’s a possible name for the new show.

TIM
Oh.

RANDY
How many stars?

TIM
Four.

RANDY
Yeah, four!

TIM
Yeah.
