Their website opens with “To those who live for jazz, swing and gin we salute you”. Here at the stand, we may not be jazz crazy, but once we have some gin in us, you better believe we can swing.

This annual St Andrews event is specifically geared towards fighting Cystic Fibrosis and this year’s Masquerade hopes to raise £4,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Currently, this condition affects around 9,000 people in the UK and about 30,000 people in the U.S.

The Masquerade will be held on April 21st in St Mary’s Quad. It will include special guests such as The Correspondents, supported by the St Andrews famous The Blueswater Collective. This is seriously starting to sound like a good night – who wouldn’t want to dance the night away, accompanied by good music, alcohol sponsors, and a hangover that was all for a good cause?
