The alleyway has been sealed off

A man was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury after he was assaulted in an alleyway that connects James Weld Close to Carlton Road.

Two men attacked the 39-year-old and left him with "serious but not life threatening" injuries, according to a Hampshire Police spokesperson.
