Man arrested after drug raid on Gordon Avenue

A man has been arrested after a house on Gordon Avenue was raided in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The 51-year-old was detained on suspicion of theft and supplying Class B drugs. The police seized quantities of cannabis, amphetamines, cash and a stolen push bike.

The arrest was made as part of Southampton's "Operation Fortress", an ongoing push to reduce drug-related crime and violence.
