The club has been described as having potential for student or residential accommodation in "prime student accommodation territory". Architects have drawn up plans in which the property would encompass eight flats.
On the other hand, for those not looking to develop it, it's advertised key features include a late license, fantastic investment potential and a turnover of £500,000 per 32-week year.
The infamous Nick 'Jesters' gave us this statement: "Retirement sale, the current owners have been running Jesters since 1987 and are now in their 70's looking to retire. No need to panic, these things normally take a couple of years and great efforts will be made to ensure the new owners keep to the Jesters ethos which has made it such a success over the past 31 years."
