Wessex Scene just published a bullshit article on the ‘rumoured’ 2018 Union election candidates

How the tables have turned.

Wessex Scene have just published an article listing the rumoured candidates for the 2018 Union Elections. Now this would be fine, normally. But the Tab have proof that the Wessex Scene purposely mixed in fake candidates with the real ones, possibly to create more buzz and hype?

Obviously it is a rumours list, so if some people don’t run then Wessex Scene won’t get any backlash, because it is just a rumour. But they are quite a lot of people on that list that write for or have close links with Wessex Scene…

Even if it is a thing that Wessex Scene have done for years, it’s a bit dodgy to put in people who are 100% not even considering running into a rumours list. One might even say, fake news?
