Genevieve LebusAn 18-year-old girl is fighting for her life in Southampton General Hospital after she was hit by a taxi on Bitterne Road West at the weekend.
The incident, which has left the girl in critical condition, occurred outside the BP petrol station at around 2am on Sunday morning.
The Daily Echo spoke to PC Dave Hazlett, who said "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time who may have seen what happened or saw either the car or woman prior to the collision.
"Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, quoting 44170440363, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
