Natalie AminoffSouthampton’s most famous curry house, Tariq Manzil’s (not to be confused with the other Manzil’s just up the road) has been nominated for a presitigious English Curry award.
They have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Takeaway of the Year category for the South East region at the 7th English Curry Awards 2017. God knows why they has only been 6 previous Curry Awards, as the English have been enjoying their takeaways since time began.
Other nominees include: Masala Bay Indian Takeaway, Bombay Xpress, Daan Malikas Restaurant and Nawabi Tandoori Takeaway. But we all know Manzil’s will take the top prize.
