What to expect from Common People this weekend

Apologies if you are an unlucky one who is still in the midst of exams and hand ins and so has to pass on the big bank holiday weekend.  We wish you the best of luck from the Soton Tab.

For those of you who are free, here is what to be expected this coming bank holiday weekend bonanza.

Common People festival will be returning to Southampton Common with great acts such as the likes of Sean Paul, Pete Tong, Tom Odell, Groove Armada over the course of Saturday and Sunday.

Besides the big artists, there will also be activities and arts such as: ‘The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle’, ‘Vintage Funfair rides’, magic shows, and much more.

There will also be DJ’s across the weekend. During Sunday, Junk will be taking over the sugar skulls stage with Chaos in the CBD headlining in a nine and a half hour set starting from 1.15. Expect deep groovy house and tunes that will you get you buzzing it’s summer.

Junk will be hosting the Common People after parties to which Common People ticket holders will have discounted entry to.

Saturday’s afterparty is with Radio 1’s Moxie, who is fast becoming one of the biggest names in dance music. Moxie’s skills behind the decks and electric selections have received widespread acclaim in the music industry over the last few years. Carry the party on here.
