Mysterious attack on woman by Avenue campus
She was found injured in the underpass off Highfield Road
Iona McPhersonYesterday at about 2:10pm officers were called to the underpass near Highfield Road.
Police are currently investigating a mysterious attack on a woman who was found injured in the underpass.
The woman was taken to hospital but later discharged.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: “We are at early stages of the investigation and are working with the victim to try and establish the exact circumstances of what happened.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101, quoting 44170076935.”
