Joanna BarringtonThe day you’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Voting for the SUSU elections opens today, and competition for the top dog positions of Union President and VP Democracy and Creative Industries couldn’t be tighter.
Nominations for these positions are up from last year – there are five candidates for Union President and four for VP Democracy and Creative Industries, making it trickier than ever to predict who will be sitting on the coveted union thrones. There are also more uncontested positions this year, begging the question – what is putting off people from applying?
Candidate numbers are higher for Union President and VP DCI than last year.
Voting for the SUSU elections opens at 12pm today and ends at 4pm on March 4th. Let us know who you’re voting for so we can give you our stellar (and sometimes accurate) predictions prior to results night on Friday. Candidates, may the odds be ever in your favour.
