Freshers react to their first ever jesticle

We asked some freshers what they thought of their first Jesticle.

The infamous rum, vodka, malibu and orange juice cocktail has won the hearts of thousands of students over the years- but how does the new crop of freshers feel about their first pint of Southampton’s finest?

Adam, 19, first year.

“‘I’m getting the blurs, but apart from that, it’s alright.”

Hannah and Tabby, both 18, first year.

‘It’s not as bad as i thought it was gonna be.’

‘I’m from London so obviously I love it.’

Matt, 19, first year.

‘It’s alright.’

Jack, 19, First year. (Had just slipped down the stairs, bless him).

“Literally nothing bad about it”

Julien, 19, first year.

‘Amazing, delicious, fruity. I would drink a lot if it was nutritious. It was fucking amazing.’

Lewis and Ben, Economics and Accounting, both 19, first year.

‘Good but shit’

‘I cant judge until later- I feel great now though!’ 

Abbie and James, both 18, first years.

“Awesome- it’s so nice. I actually love it.”

“Very good. It’s alright.”

Sophie, 20, first year. “Tasted better when i wasn’t drunk”.

‘Drinkable. I don’t mind it.’

‘Great but to be honest I really want to stop’.
