Despite losing last month to SOAS on University Challenge, Southampton is back to compete against Loughborough for a place in the second round.

The team from Southampton captained by Bob De Caux comprises of Matt Loxham, David Bishop and Richard Evans.

Southampton lost to the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in August. Soton finished with 155 points to SOAS’ 230.

Southampton will be up against Loughborough University on Monday in the highest scoring loser play off. If Southampton win then they will be through to the second round.

It is expected that SUSU the cat will be the mascot for Southampton again.

The University of Southampton will be up against Loughborough University on BBC2 at 8pm, Monday 28th October. The Bridge Bar on campus will be showing the episode that evening.
