AnonPolice have released a CCTV still of witnesses they think can help them with their investigations into the rape of a 22-year-old man near Southampton Common.
Police believe these three people may be able to identify those involved with the attack.
At 3am on 5th October, a 22-year-old man was dragged into a bush near the Common and raped. He was walking home from a night out and heard crying near the car park on Cemetery Road. He went to investigate and was dragged into bushes and seriously sexually assaulted.
Police are continuing their appeal for information which could help them with their case.
The image shows three people walking along The Avenue, away from the city centre and on a route which would pass the end of Cemetery Road.
I am very keen to speak to the three people in this still image, which was taken at about 3.40am on the morning of the incident. They may hold key evidence which can identify the suspect in this attack. I also need to hear from anyone who thinks they can identify these people.
I want to speak with anyone who was in Cemetery Road around this time. I want to make it clear that sensitivity and discretion can be assured.”
