Police are appealing for witnesses after a laptop was stolen from a house on Gordon Avenue during a night-time burglary.

Gordon Avenue

A burglar broke into the student house on Gordon Avenue through a ground-floor window and stole an Apple Mac laptop.

The robbery took place between 11:15pm on Friday 24th May, and 3:30am on Saturday 25th May.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 10ins – 5ft 11ins tall with a skinny build, dark eyes, dark hair with a fringe that could be seen below his hood. He spoke with a local accent.

The robber is also described as wearing a black hooded top, black Adidas tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes on each leg, and he was wearing a black scarf covering the lower half of his face.

To avoid becoming a victim of burglary, make sure doors and windows are locked securely and valuables are left out of sight, particularly in ground floor rooms.
