AnonA Southampton student has been presumed hit by a car this afternoon on the junction between Church Lane, Welbeck Avenue and University Road. Several ambulances and police cars were at the scene when the incident occurred at around 3.20pm.
The junction is notorious for near misses with cyclists and pedestrians. At the moment Hampshire Constabulary are not releasing any details on the incident but eye witness reports have informed The Tab that a student may have been involved in a collision with a vehicle.
More information to follow as soon as it become available.
UPDATE: Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a student was hit by a car this afternoon. A cyclist was involved in a collision and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
