Then luckily for you, Cancer Research UK’s ‘Race for Life’, will be in Southampton.

…And, you’ve guessed it… this is basically a plug to encourage you all to get invovled!!

The race itself is only 5k, with the option of a 10k race for those optimistic sporting types.
(Participants can walk, jog, run or even crawl your way through it.)
Every penny rasied will go directly to the charity and help discover new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Cancer Research UK is the worlds leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through their research.
The Race for Life began in 1994 and over the years has rasied an amazing £457 million.

I’m not going to go on about the many different types of cancer, or how many people it affects because I’m sure you guys have heard all of this, maybe even seen its effects and know how serious of a situation it is.
