Gordon Avenue Stabbing was Drug Deal Gone Wrong

Botched Portswood drug deal ends in near-fatal stabbing.

Heroin dealer Mohammed Miah

The stabbing on Gordon Avenue last November came after a drug dealer argued with his client.

Eighteen year-old heroin dealer Mohammed Miah, originally from London, stabbed David Humby, from Eastleigh, as he got out of his car to complete the £25 deal.

Mr Humby was assisted by staff and customers in the Gordon Arms. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he received treatment for a lacerated vein and artery

Miah admitted wounding with intent, possessing a bladed article and being concerned in an offer to supply heroin, and was jailed for six years.
