International Foods has today announced its Sunday opening hours are to be curtailed. As of yesterday, the store will be open 12-6PM on Sundays, a reduction from their usual 8AM-10PM week-round hours.
The popular Portswood retailer has taken advantage of its 10PM closing time on the weekends; when almost every other shop on the high street is closed International Foods can snaffle the late night student crowd.
One student told The Tab:
International Foods is brilliant, whenever you’re feeling lazy on a Sunday night you can pick up some dinner when Co-op is shut.
International Foods haven’t repsonded to our request for a comment.
