The Daily Echo is reporting that the Hobbit Pub will not be closed! Saul Zaentz has claimed the lawsuit was a ‘misunderstanding’ and wasn’t aimed at making anyone go out of business!
Rumours of a nominal licence fee abound, possibly around $100.
We have an interview and follow up with the landlady to come and will obviously ask for confirmation later so keep an eye on the site for an in depth update on the situation.
