10 Inspirational Fashion Blogs

Today, fashion bloggers are like celebrities. They’re extremely influential in the fashion industry, and many have created quite a lucrative business for themselves. For instance, last year super chic Swede Elin Kling scored a collaborative H&M collection.

Personally, I have at least 30 blogs bookmarked, and the following 10 I read religiously. I guess I have slight stalker qualities, I love reading about other people’s lives and escaping into their seemingly perfect world filled with designer freebies and a massive decadent closet. My boyfriend will tell you that if I don’t get my daily fashion blog fix, I’m pretty cranky. I know it’s superficial, but so what? Who doesn’t want a little escape from their everyday lives? These blogs appeal to me because what they achieve is what I strive to achieve every morning when I get dressed; a flawless, perfectly coordinated and balanced look with a unique personal flare and innovation. They also give me new ideas on how to wear certain items, and keep me up to date on the latest trends. People on the street inspire me as well, but let’s be frank here, Southampton isn’t exactly booming with eager fashionistas.

There’s no doubt in my mind that putting extra time and thought into what you wear makes you that much more confident. It also gives people a lasting impression of you and improves the way you carry yourself. The biggest motivation for me to get out of bed and drag myself up church lane is knowing that I’ll look good whilst doing it.
