Costa Coffee’s new outlet on Portswood High Street will be open “in a week” according to builders working on site.
The shop will be opening in place of the old HSBC on the corner of the infamous Westridge Road.
The new coffee shop has sprung up quickly, compared to the Sainsbury’s development down the street, which is months overdue.
It remains to be seen whether the new chain shop will steal customers away from Portswood favourites Trago Lounge, Kate’s Cafe and Poppins.
