Filming for the fifth series of Channel 4’s dieting show has been taking place today at Southampton General Hospital.
As a hospital with a large research base, it is likely that the show’s producers will be using some of the hospital’s experts in nutrition sciences as consultants for the program.
For those of us unfamiliar with the program, the basic premise is each episode one supersize and one superskinny person move in together in a “feeding clinic” The idea is that the two learn from each others dysfunctional eating habits in an attempt to change their ways. The show also deals with other issues surrounding weight food and body image.
