Alistair StewardAt around 9.30 on Sunday evening residents of Forster Road in Portswood were roused from their sofas by a series of sharp reports as the windows of a smart BMW parked on the street were smashed, possibly by bullets.
Witnesses spotted two youths running away from the scene which marks yet another episode in a series of crime filled weeks for the ‘hood. The police arrived swiftly and were met by a worried group clad in dressing gowns.
The Soton Tab can only speculate about potential motives at this stage. However, owning a BMW and living in Portswood is a combination that surely should raise some eyebrows… perhaps somebody is playing a real life version of GTA: Hampshire.
