It’s the only Sheffield uni to sit in the top 20

The University of Sheffield has been ranked as 17th in the UK for graduate employabilty in a table by StudentCrowd.

Data within the table shows 72 per cent of graduates are in work or further study within six months of graduating.

The university’s ranking comes as a result of 15,871 students reviews submitted on the site between June 2020 and May 2022. These reviews must be verified by an ac.uk email address, so the results come from the opinions of real students.

StudentCrowd’s table specifically references the university’s ‘MySkills’ platform as a hub for recording and developing students’ abilities, with the aim of increasing employability.

The University of Sheffield’s approach is credited as creating highly employable, independent graduates through a personable and individual strategy.
