All the events you need to attend for a spooktacular week

Halloween is fast approaching, and it’s every student’s favourite time of year. Boys get to do that thing where they take a white t-shirt and dowse it in ketchup, and girls are handed an excuse to wear as little clothes as possible. Fun and games all round.

However, for students, Halloween is rarely a one-night event. Celebrations and boozing usually lasts for the whole week. So, here’s a guide to all the events happening in Sheffield this year for Halloween week.

Halloween Purge @ Network – Mon 31st Oct

The Halloween Purge takes place at Network this year for its eighth consecutive year.

There’ll be nothing short of immersive visuals, interactive acts and professional makeup artists on hand.

Better yet, the best fancy dress means creepy prizes!

Dirty Deeds @ Corp – Sat 29th Oct

With £1.20 vodka mixers, 90p Sourz, and three J-Bombs for £6, Corp is boasting four rooms of madness to choose from.

Corp promises the biggest tunes and the best vibes, so don’t miss out.

As well as Dirty Deeds, there’s also Drop, and Corp Mondays if you fancy a full weekend of Halloween-ing at Corp.

Sonic Saturday – Halloween Spooktacular @ The Leadmill – Sat 29th Oct

After completely selling out for the last ten years, this is expected to be a big night, so make sure you get your tickets early!

Expect full-venue decorations, cash prizes for best costume, and three big rooms of music.

With the cheapest drinks in the city, you can’t go wrong. 80p vodka mixers, £1.50 doubles and much more!

The Leadmill is also hosting Wrong Crowd, Club Tropicana, Leadmill Fridays and Bad Habit Mondays all in honour of Halloween.

Spooky Saturdays @ CODE: – Sat 29th Oct

Code’s Halloween special boasts two thousand students, two floors of tunes and £2 drinks.

To top this, Code are also introducing £4 rounds! A vodka mixer, shot and bomb for just four quid.

Fearfest ’22 @ Magna Science Adventure Centre – Sat 29th Oct

The tenth year anniversary of Fearfest is approaching, and it promises the biggest acts from all over the world.

Artists performing include Chase & Status, Hybrid Minds, Shy FX and Tom Zanetti.

Make sure to wear your scariest costume and prepare to rave the night away.
