Double shooting near Bramall Lane kills former Sheffield student
Police are appealing for information following the incident
On Saturday 10 April at 9:40pm, Police were called to Clough Road, near Bramall Lane, following reports of shots fired.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and immediately pronounced a 31-year-old former Sheffield student dead from “life-threatening injuries consistent with firearms discharge.”
The man has since been named as Khuram Javed, a Solicitor and father-of-two in Sheffield. Tributes have poured in on social media for “such a lovely person with an infectious smile.”
Truly dreadful news which I’ve not stopped thinking about all day. Khuram was such a lovely person with an infectious smile. He could bat a bit too! My thought are with Javed and the rest of his family. https://t.co/pwIlYMjoVo
