There’s a brand new night coming to the Union

Leadmill eat your heart out

Brush up on your indie music, dust off your vans, and get ready to belt out all the lyrics to 'Mardy Bum' at the top of your lungs – there's a new night heading for the union.

Foundry are hosting the night, called Flux, on November 30th, and have described it as 'a night of pure Indie Rock & Pop paying homage to the legends in Indie music at Sheffield Students’ Union'.

Band tees everywhere

There will be free UV face paint and glitter UV cannons, and a video wall, as well as tunes from Pulp, The xx, and LCD Soundsystem to name but a few.

They're even running a prize draw for the opening – everyone who buys an advance ticket will be in the running to win two tickets to see The Cribs at Foundry on January 20th, plus £15 worth of drinks tokens for Flux.

Early bird tickets are only £3, advance are £4, or you can get them on the door for a fiver.
