Female student urges witnesses to come forward after assault in Code

Marie-Elise WorswickA female student is urging witnesses to come forward after she was viciously attacked in Code during Freshers' Week.
The girl was left with a broken nose and injuries to her eye and forehead, but she needs witnesses of the attack to come forward so that the perpetrator can be charged.
The attack happened on 24th September between midnight and 1am in the upstairs of the club, to the left hand side of the main stage.
A group of six or seven boys, one of whom was wearing a red polo shirt with a black strips down the side and shoulder. The group of boys are described as white and of a slim build, with the main attacker being around 5'8" with light brown hair.
The victim was wearing a multicoloured vest top at the time of the attack.
Any witnesses are urged to call police on 101 quoting incident number 100 of 24th September 2017, or can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
