Sheffield’s best smoking area: The results

After a tense few days and hundreds of votes, the students of Sheffield have spoken and named their favourite smoking area.

The one and only Corporation won the vote, with 53 per cent of the vote.

In second place was Code, the neutral ground between Hallam and Uni of students, followed by the lucid smoking area of The Tuesday Club. Then in fourth place was The Leadmill with the background smell of McDonald's and Nev, and in fifth place was West Street Live.

You have all fallen in love with the Corp smoking area over the years, with its random food van and eclectic mix of people, but we all love the blue pint-fuelled conversations with people you'd never normally chat to. Corp is what makes the Sheffield student experience so great, though you won't remember most of it.
