Hallam was ranked as 70th best nationally, up nine places on last year, and sixth best in the North.

According to The Times, the University of Sheffield remains comfortably inside the top 20 favourite recruiting grounds for leading employers. Uni of is also the only Russell Group university to prioritise degree apprenticeships with many apprenticeships at its Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing, while another 90 will embark on engineering degrees in a joint programme with Sheffield Hallam.
