BrewDog are offering a free beer to Sheffield voters

Claim your free pint this Thursday or Friday

In light of this weeks election taking place on Thursday 8th June, BrewDog are giving away a free pint to everyone who votes.

In a statement, BrewDog insisted how important it is that “everyone exercises their right to vote” and they want to reward those who have their say with a can of Punk IPA. All they ask is that you snap a selfie outside your polling station and show it to Sheffield’s own BrewDog bar situated on Devonshire Street.

No need to worry if you opted for a postal vote, you can still redeem a free pint by showing your postal vote confirmation email at the bar.

This superb offer will be available from election day on Thursday 8th June. Voters can then redeem their free pint on either Thursday or the following day on Friday 9th, ideal if you fancy a well deserved post-exam beverage.

BrewDog will also be doing an alternative election poll in the hope that results will be more accurate by offering of free beer to all voters. BrewDog have stated that “Following a series of recent political shocks in which established and recognised opinion polls failed to accurately predict the outcome, we hope to garner a more open response from those taking part by putting a can of Punk IPA in their hand.”

They will be asking the general public from across the UK who they will be voting for in the general election from Monday to Wednesday this week. “The twist?” they say is that they only want to know your vote after you have enjoyed a refreshing can of Punk IPA. “Just call us BrewGov” they say.

Their company will continue their research outside polling stations across the UK on election day before releasing the findings of what they refer to as “the world’s first beer-fuelled exit poll.”
