Merry Rogerson, a zoology student at the University of Sheffield, has been voted as Sheffield’s BNOC of the Year 2017.

The brazen brunette won over the hearts of many with her story of nursing a hedgehog back to health, as well as taking her pet mouse to the botanical gardens and unfortunately falling into the fountain.

Rogerson is rumoured to have only been to two lectures so far this calendar year, despite having to resit first year, and is also a big lover of The Night Kitchen.

Not only was she sacked from Area nightclub for drinking on the job and behaviour in the boy’s toilets, she is also banned from West Street Live for tearing all their posters off the wall, and is allegedly on Sheffield SU’s ‘wanted list’.

Speaking to her, she said that this is her “proudest achievement of 2017”, although she did say she wouldn’t be including it on her CV any time soon.

Congratulations, Merry!
