The Moor Theatre Delicatessen in Sheffield is hosting a ‘sex festival’ throughout this month.

According to the organisers, the event aims to present a ‘clear, educational awareness of the taboo topic of sex’.

The event which received nearly £15,000 in funding from the Arts Council, is entitled ‘Let’s talk about sex’. The four week long celebration of sexuality will explore topics relating to sex and gender, from the history of the vibrator to cabaret shows. There will also be talks, theatre shows, and workshops.

And, if you fancy going to a party, they’re holding a “Happy Birthday Clitoris!” event on the 21st March, where you’ll be able to wear party hats and eat clitoris themed treats.

The event is also exploring modern masculinity, as well as featuring a performance of the famous “Vagina Monologues” show. There will also be “SheFest” on March 11th.
