A 44-year-old Sheffield man who was arrested by detectives on suspicion of rape has been released on bail.
The arrest follows an incident on Sunday 23rd October, when a 25-year-old woman was reportedly raped after getting a taxi around the West Street area. The incident happened in the vehicle.
He was questioned by the police, but was released pending further inquiries.
The woman is still being supported by specialist officers.
