Bachelor of the week

Watch out ladies

In the first of our new series, we meet fresher Mohammad Shirazi, one of the most eligible bachelors on campus.

The metrosexual Iranian sex symbol and Computer Science first year has a heart as warm as Aladdin, but a demeanour as cold as the darkest Middle Eastern night.

But don’t be fooled, this air of mystery does not mean he doesn’t know how to have a good time.  When he’s not tearing it up in Plug with a monstrous pile of Jager, you’ll find him on West Street enjoying a few pints with his mates.  “I like a drink as much as the next man, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like a deep discussion every now and again” he says.

His selfie game can only be described as legendary, with every selfie somehow being artistically different from the next.  But by no means is this down to earth Birmingham boy shallow – he is all for fierce political debate and never shy’s away from what he truly feels, even at the cost of his popularity within the friendship group.

A trait similar to that of the great Joan of Arc in the 15th century.

Similarly, as seen above, his wonderful ‘ibun’ t-shirt points to sartorial expertise that few can match, which he proudly wears on every possible occasion.  He says “it has always been a t-shirt that has been close to my heart, I hope to pass it down from generation to generation”.

As far as he is concerned the club is his oyster and after a heavy pre it seems nothing can stop him with him seemingly making appearances on every club website at some point in the week.

However, although his fashion sense can be questionable at times, what will never be questioned is his taste for trainers.  Whether it be the latest Air Maxes or Air Jordans.  He will remind everyone of his sizeable investment in trainers at every opportunity.  “Shoes are my main way to express myself,  without them I feel lost.” A boy after every girl’s heart.

Although born Mohammad, his self-proclaimed nickname “Mojo” has a better ring to it. “I don’t like having the most common name in the world” he says “I am an individual in my own right”.  Regardless, this hearty Middle Eastern adonis could be in a club near you. Watch out for him ladies, he’s hot property.
