Sheffield graduates are 27th most employable in the country

Don’t worry Hallam only came 72nd

Sheffield has ranked 27th in the country for graduate prospects.

But don’t worry, we’re still beating loads of other Russell Group unis including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Queen Mary’s and York.

77% of Sheffield graduates were in professional jobs or post graduate study within six months of graduating in 2013, a 5.5% increase on the year before.

The results come courtesy of the Complete University Guide’s 2016 rankings.

Keep going, you’re probably going to get a job if you learn the difference between ‘its’ and ‘it’s’

Our poly neighbours managed to drop down the list by an impressive six places to 72nd overall, with graduate prospect scores at a fairly dysmal 59.2%. Good effort, guys.

Pipping us to the post were Imperial, St George’s, and Cambridge who took gold, silver and bronze respectively.
