Update: Morrisons confirm new Broomhill store

Daisy CollingwoodRumours had suggested everything from a Balti King Super Restaurant to a custom made Dan Bean palace to be taking Eurospars Fulwood Road place.
Yesterday we reported whispers of a Morrisons Local, and today their Press Office have confirmed it.
“I’m delighted to confirm we have indeed taken over the Fulwood Road premises, and the store is likely to open in the new year” said Morrisons spokesperson Tom.
The store will retrain and rebrand former Eurospar staff, meaning no job losses for Broomhill.
Tom couldn’t shed any light on the products, offers or particular deli counters that will be present in the store, but promised to keep us fully informed with any developments.
