Royal Holloway rises over 40 places up world uni rankings

See ya later SOAS

RoHo have soared up the latest QS world rankings, rising over forty places to 231st.

We’re now ranked higher than Beijing Normal University (at least we’re better than normal) and Leicester.

Having suffered a dip in 2014 where we fell from 267th to 275th, we have definitely bounced back strongly this year.

Gutted Leicester

Our new high ranking means we’re the 32nd highest placed uni in the UK, not a bad effort when you consider how small RHUL is.

If this was a beauty contest, we’d win by a landslide

We also came 6th out of all the London universities, beating SOAS, Birkbeck, City University, Goldsmiths, Kingston, London Met and more.

On a faculty level, Arts and Humanities impressed the most with a ranking of 140th in the world, up five places from last year.

We also scored a pretty meaty 97.7 for Academic Reputation, and 98 for Employer Reputation.

Yay for employment prospects!

All in all, we are definitely on the rise. Loughborough – you better watch your back. In the immortal words of the TOWIE theme tune, “the only way is up”.
